He worked for 37 years as an Asst. Research Officer / Research Officer in Irrigation Research Institute－Roorkee, India. He has 38 years’ experience of planning and conducting 3D physical model studies for more than twenty high and medium head Hydro projects from Himalayan Regions. He is currently working as Physical Hydraulic Modeling Expert at Innovante Water Solutions Pvt. Ltd. And also, Independent Hydraulic Expert with, THDC, Hindustan Constructions, Energy Infratech since 2011. He has served on Advisor to Engineering Design team for federally funded projects assessing structural vulnerabilities and recommending enhancements to embankment dam across India.

He has issued more than 200 Research/ Technical reports.
He has 38 years’ experience of planning and conducting 3D physical model studies for more than twenty high and medium head Hydro projects from Himalayan Regions. He has performed Hydrographic surveys of large and medium reservoirs to predict rate of sedimentation and life of reservoirs through HEC-RAS. He did hydraulic Design of Drinking water supply from dams, side intakes, design of gravity mains and distribution of pipelines. He worked as a consultant for Hydraulic design and model for Nikhachhoo HE Project (BHUTAN), Hydraulic Model SME for Lower Kalnai HE Project- J&K, INDIA.
