Er. Binod Kumar Sinha is an Advisor (Dam) at Innovante Water Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Innovante Water Solution Pvt. Ltd. He is retired as a Director, Dam Safety (S.E.) and S.E. Dam and gate Design circle, S.E. Design Flood Control in Central Design Organisation from W.R.D. Bihar, Patna. He has experience of 34 Years in the field of Design, Operation and Maintenance of Dams, Bridges and Roads including other Hydraulic Structures like Aqueduct etc.
He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1984. He earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from IGNOU in 1995. He did his M.Tech in Water Resources from IIT Roorkee in 2003.
He has published more than 100 Research/ Technical reports.
His expertise lies in Design, Operation, and Maintenance of Dams, Barrage Design and Construction, Safety Planning during Floods, Environmental Assessment and Operation Planning. He has a total experience of 34 Years in this field and The major role of assignment was to advise and provide technical support to field engineers for construction of Durgawati Dam in kaimur Dist, Bihar and also the Preparation of of E.A.P. and Operation Manual, Dam break analysis and preparation of inundation map, conducting various studies like Siltation of Reservoirs, Installation of Instrumentation like Rain gauge, and AWLR etc. of the other 23 existing large dams in Bihar. He has also designed and provided technical support in construction of Punpun Barrage, Uderasthan Barrage in Gaya. He has designed more than 50 major hydraulic structures in W.R.D. Bihar during his tenure.
