He is a Geology Professional with over 33 years of experience in Hydropower Development (NHPC) and 2 years of NATM Tunneling (Railways Tunnel in Himalayas under RVNL). He Worked as Chief General Manager in Project Investigation Division (PID) at NHPC Faridabad. He worked as Addl. General Manager (Geo-tech/Expert) in Rail Vikas Nigam limited (RVNL) under Ministry of Railways.
He holds a master’s degree in Geology and has received awards for their contributions to Rajbhasha implementation. He holds a master’s degree M.Sc. (Geology) and B.Sc. (Geology) from Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand (A Central University) in 1981 & 1979 respectively. He holds a Diploma in Industrial Relation and Personnel Management.
He has a track record of leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, and has contributed to the successful completion of several major projects. He has more than 20 research publications focused on Geophysical and Geotechnical Investigations.
He has involved in construction of 07 nos. of Railway Tunnels in Siwalik formation in Punjab and Himachal Area by NATM. He has expertise in Engineering Geological and Geotechnical investigations, managing construction stage Geological challenges, and providing expert Geological advice. His experience includes managing Geotechnical works of Hydropower Projects, overseeing environmental divisions, and coordinating with regulating bodies and government organizations.
