From physical modelling of weirs to floating-solar capacity studies, our briefs span the country's most demanding water infrastructure.
Scaled physical model investigation of a Piano Key Weir installation to raise the existing Asolamendha barrage capacity. Conducted under government brief, with field-condition replication and sediment behaviour validation.
State-wise assessment of viable floating photovoltaic capacity across India's reservoirs. Combined GIS-based reservoir surface analysis with bathymetry and ecological screening to deliver an investment-grade capacity dataset.
Field-validated experiment to maintain navigable water levels in the Ganga waterway for inland shipping. Hydraulic intervention design and post-implementation monitoring confirmed the proof of concept.

The IHE Laboratory
Most consultancies subcontract physical model studies. We built our own. The Innovante Hydraulic Engineering Laboratory in Roorkee runs scaled models for weirs, spillways, intakes and bridge piers — with calibration against site data and CFD cross-validation.
